Pump model nomenclature decoder

Work in progress — verify decode results against Sandpiper’s official nomenclature charts.

Decode a nameplate, build a model from chart segments (reverse), or browse real serial DB samples by family. To narrow by duty, chemical, and OEM filters first, use the pump selector. Rules follow Sandpiper’s three-generation nomenclature.

Spaces and commas are ignored (PB keeps 1/4 and optional 00. kit separate before commas merge). Periods are kept on Gen 2 kit codes (e.g. 00., SP.). EH, G, HD, HDB, HDF, HP, S, and PB work with or without a trailing ERP period. HDB 1 1/2 → 15; PB 1/4 → 025; ERP lines like PB 1/4,TS4PP. decode (construction PP = polypropylene).   • Generation 2 — Signature S05…, S1F… / S15… / S20… / S30… metallic & non-metallic, S07… / S10…, plastic PB025…, HP, Heavy Duty, natural gas G….
  • Generation 1 — EH High Pressure (EH2…, e.g. EH 2, T GN 4 S), plus heavy-duty metallic (HDF, ST, WTS, etc.): legacy formats; confirm on Gen 1 diagram.
